Dancing with the Stars? (may contain spoilers)

Is anyone watching this season? I missed Monday's show (was helping Lauren with a school project), but I watched last night. Oh my. Why in the world do they have an 82 yr old dancing (Cloris Leachman)? And she is sooooo annoying. :gah: I can't even watch her. She actually called Carrie Ann Inaba a (insert word for female dog) when Carrie gave her score. I heard Cloris danced a beautiful Foxtrot, but when she tried to dance the mambo last night, it was truly painful to watch.

I cannot wait for her to be voted off. I don't have a favorite yet...oh but I do agree with Carrie Ann who told Susan Lucci that she needs to gain some weight. The woman is already a skeleton, and historically, the contestants have lost 20+ lbs.

Anyone else watching? What do you think?

Cloris needs to go ~ it's embarrassing.

I don't really have a favorite yet ~ so far, they all seem to be doing well

Except for Cloris that is.

You're right...it is embarrassing. I am embarrassed for her (not that she cares anyway). I am really hoping she'll go home tonight.

I agree she is annoying to say the least. I hope she goes tonight. And Susan Lucci really is entirely too thin! I was disappointed with her on Monday since I really thought she would have more hip action and move much better than she did. But I just love, love, love to watch it!

I haven't watched it, but I heard clips of Cloris on the radio... spunky punk that one. I had to wonder if she was drunk or just oxygen deprived!

She's always like that from what I've seen. She was just as annoying (though it was a bit funny at first) when she appeared on The Bonnie Hunt Show last week.

I get a kick out of Cloris, she is a spunky little old 82 year old. I am impressed that she is able to get out there and dance at that age.

My favorite is probably Warren Sapp, I always tend to like the football players.

I really thought that either CLoris, Susan Lucci or Rocco would be gone...shows you just how bad I am at this, LOL!

I liked Ted. Darn. I wish Cloris would go, but I believe you have all those "vote for the worst" people/sites to blame for it.

My favs so far are:
Warren Sapp (he seems like such a teddy bear...although I wouldn't want to be a QB)
Lance Bass (always was my favorite N'Syncer)
Maurice Green(also seems like someone who is genuinely nice)
Misty May Trainer (seems like she is working hard and is having fun)

I missed the premiers this week, but plan to catch up online (is DWTS online this season, I haven't looked yet?) Anyway, I had been reading recaps of t he episodes. I heard Brooke was awesome the other night. As for Susan Lucci, the woman is tiny and a few pounds definatly wouldn't hurt her.

I really want to see Misty and Warren. Like Katy, I tend to like the football players too.

I think that's exactly what's going on. Next week the two dances are the Pasa Doble and the Rumba. Should be interesting to see her do the P.D, but what do you bet she gets the Rumba?

Does anyone know how the dances for each couple are determined? Is it random?

I'm so glad that Cloris is finally gone. And I felt sorry for Susan Lucci during the group dance. She could *not* keep up. I think the producers should have kept Cloris in that mix (rather than writing in a part for her that would allow her to basically just stand there). They made Susan Lucci look bad in their attempt to keep Cloris out of the way.

I was really impressed with Lance's dance partner (Lacey?) during the group hip hop dance--I didn't really care for her dancing before. And Cheryl was awesome too.

Okay I admit it I'm a huge DWTS fan (Yea a guy that is addicted to reality shows, but in case ya haven't figured it out yet I'm not the "standard" guy) but anyway my fav is and probably always will be Lance Bass, though I do like Warren too... I like Lance more because of his partner Lacey who, for any that didn't know it, was on So You Think You Can Dance (she was in the top three if I remember right) and was Benji Schwimer's (winner the second year of SYTYCD) sister. I know Cloris annoyed a lot of people but I think she was just too awesomely spunky and fun! Admittedly she wasn't the best dancer at all but the one week she did do really good... she had to go with this week's dance though even for loving her the way I did it was horrid... loved Lacey in the group dance but wasn't surprised, she had hiphop training with SYTYCD... looking forward to what happens next week.
