Survivor Gabon Running Commentary (May Contain Spoilers)

Let's try to keep it to things that happen on the show as far as spoilers go. In other words, I may post something that happened last night on the show, but I won't post anything that I've read on one of the spoiler sites. Clear as mud? My disclaimer in the title is just to warn people that they may read about things from the show that aired the night before, so if they haven't seen that particular episode, they can stay away if they wish.

Anyway, what did you all think? I can't believe Fang chose so many female members at the beginning of the show. Now I'm not trying to sound chauvinistic, so please don't take this that way, but it seems to me that if they want to win the challenges--particularly the ones at the beginning which are critical to their future survival (e.g. flint, fishing supplies, extra food, etc), that they should be picking the strong men first. Hope that didn't offend anyone.

I was pleased that they voted off the two that they did. Michelle was just so negative (and clearly less than intelligent by insulting people on the jury right before they voted when she knew it was a possibility that she was going home---then again, maybe she just assumed that was the case and therefore didn't care any more who she offended. :thinking:

Jillian was just annoying IMO.

And geeze, I think the men should keep their shorts on. What's up with walking around in boxer briefs? That's just as bad as the women walking around in their bras. And while I'm discussing wardrobes...do these people not watch the show before they tryout? Why was that woman wearing a dress? There's always one wearing the most impratical clothing!

I don't know I watched it like I have all the other seasons of Survivor....but I don't think this will be my favorite season....

I liked who they voted out...

I was happy with those voted out. One was a major whiner and the other a motormouth. Buh bye!

I did like the way the one team figured out how to get some fish, they looked rather pleased with themselves.
Hey, that chick with the long earrings, she looking to have those ripped out of her ears?
I kinda liked the boxer brief look on some.:embarassed: :clapgirl:

Alright how does an olympic TRACK champion have to get practically carried up the hill with the older lady at the race????? It didn't look like she was playing...but maybe. If she was she is playing the game hard. I think this was in fact my biggest question in all this. I haven't figured out who I like best yet. We pull names at work and I make sure there is one pulled for each of my boys.

DS#1 and me have Corrine (from Kota)
DS#2 and my mom have Matty (from Fang)

I think I like Matty better. Most of the girls seem like goobers to me so far this season. I hope it's just the way thier showing them.

Bob (physics prof)
Marcus (MD)
Charlie (the guy drooling over Marcus)
and
Matty (the surfer looking guy)

so far seem to be the ones I'll probably end up pulling for.

WHY OH WHY would you weara suit??????
THey know from every other show that that is the only clothing they will have
When you leave your home and everyday after that on your way to survivour show WEAR LAYERS!!!!!
Oh it kills me every season when they sit there shivering

I was happy to see Ace get blindsided last night. And what a sore loser..."Thanks a lot, Sugar".

I have to say that I think this is the most boring Survivor yet.

Oh and Randy? He's obnoxious and thinks he's "all that". Can't wait to see him go too.

I was very glad to see ACE go. Not so much with Dan. I felt like he really was working on himself. This seemed to be a growing experience for him as he was definately having a self-esteem problem.

I think the season has been kinda lame too. As for Randy, he is most definately obnoxious, but he's also playing the game,...and...doing rather well.

Me .... I'm still rooting for Bob....GO BOB!!!!
after that I guess Matty.
