Default What Movie Could You Watch 1,000 Times?

We've talked about our favorite movies, but even with those, sometimes enough is enough, especially if they are heavy hitters.

My question is, what movie could you watch again and again and again? Like, if you were flipping through the channels, you'd stop and watch it no matter what else you were doing or watching?

I ask, of course, because I'm watching Sweet Home Alabama right now. Can't...change...the...channel.

Can and have watched at least 1000 times:

    Silence of the Lambs
    The Rock (Nicolas Cage)
    Executive Decision
    Air Force One
    Most of John Wayne's stuff
    Most of Chuck Norris' stuff

Bunch more but that is what I can think of without going to look.

Hmmm. 1000 times? Can't really think of any. But by the criterion of stopping the channel surfing every time, there would be a few:

    Scrooge with Albert Finney
    Steel Magnolias
    A Man for All Seasons
    A Christmas Story

Actually, I almost never watch a movie

Can and have watched The Princess Bride a bazillion times. I've found that quotes from that movie can be slipped into conversation just about anywhere and people recognize them and laugh. And, as goofy as the movie is, it's a sweet story.

I'm a huge John Wayne fan and it doesn't matter what movie of his it is I will watch it. If the commercials start to irritate me I have most of them on CD or VHS so I'll just pop it in and watch it again. My favorite is Big Jake.

Umm none? I don't like watching movies more than once even, but if I had to pick it would be Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.
