    Default What's everyone reading?

I just started reading some James Patterson books. Going to the library tonight to get some more. I can't believe I've never read anything by him before!

I just finished "Nicholas Nickelby" (Dickens) - pretty good - and am now on "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" (forget the author). I should point out - my "reading" is actually listening. Audible.com FTW.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I love Patterson! Unfortunately, I've read all of them now. Right now I'm reading a series by Debbie Macomber where the titles are people addresses from Cedar Cove. I'm on #4 and they're pretty good. Also at the suggestion of another FV'er I started reading the "Bubbles" series by Sarah Strohmeyer. I've read 2 and have the rest on request at the Library.

I've started "The Historian", but not finding much time to read. Wondering if I'll finish it before the end of the year? At the rate I'm going (a few pages a day) & with the holidays quickly approaching, it could take me a while. I am enjoying it so far though.

The second in the Twilight series is waiting for me at the library, and I'm currently reading the 11th book in the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. I love to read

Animal, Vegtable, Miracle: A Year in Food Life This book gloriously indulges all of my personalities (voracious reader, frual maven, natural healer/preventer, and green goddess). LOVE IT!

And today I got a package from sil who emptied out her bookshelf and sent me THIRTY new books, only three of which I put in the co-op pile. Woo Hoo!

I love the Plum series! That's why I started the Bubbles series. Very similar. I just donated #14 to my libraries book sale ( I got it for my birthday and everyone's read it!) They we're real excited to get it!

James Patterson is one of my favorite authors! You will totally enjoy them. I like his writing style... chapters are only 2-3 pages long so makes for easy reading.

I love Patterson, as well. I've read all of his books as well. I like his Alex Cross books the best. Not such a fan of the others, especially the ones he writes with Andrew Gross. They don't grab me as much.

One of my other favorite authors is John Sandford. He's very much like James Patterson. Hard to not like one if you like the other. Right now I'm reading his book "Heat Lightning" but his best books are his "Prey" books that feature Lucas Davenport as the detective.
