I'm usually working on a few at a time, right now its:

    • Brisingr by Christopher Paolini (on 7 day loan so gotta read fast!)
    • Temple of the Winds by Terry Goodkind (started, but on hold while I have Brisingr)
    • Generation Hex by Dillon Burroughs
    • Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert

Right now I'm reading The Secret Life of Bees (at home) and an old Frederick Pohn novel, Gateway (downtime and breaks at work). I also made a rare book purchase - I usually use the library - and Tuesday should be getting the four harper novels in Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series.

I just finished A New Leaf by Thomas Kinkade.

I didn't realize he wrote books as well as painted. It was a story that is in a series about the people who live in a town called Cape Light in New England. It reminded me a lot of a Maeve Binchy book, and I LOVE Maeve Binchy. There was a religious slant to the book, but not overwhelmingly so.

It was an easy read and it was a nice little love story.
