It was red and yellow and green and brown
And scarlet and black and ochre and peach
And ruby and olive and violet and fawn
And lilac and gold and chocolate and mauve
And cream and crimson and silver and rose
And azure and lemon and russet and grey
And purple and white and pink and orange

Katybug...that is one of my all-time favorite soundtracks!!! (I cut and pasted the colors, as I haven't listened in a long time, but I bet if I heard it again I could get it!!!) I need to download that soundtrack!!!
And yes, I'm the same way. Over and over and over and over...luckily, my kids are the same way. Dh? Not such a fan.

hahahah! That is fantastic!
My DH? Not a fan either. He is out of town for a few days, so I'm blaring *my* music and listening to one track as much as I darn well please.
I try not to torture him when he is home.

I do this also. I can listen to some songs over and over again. My repeat and << button are permanently worn down on my mp3 player.

My DH hates that I will let the same song repeat over and over. Drives him nutty when we drive somewhere and I play the same song over and over. I hated the Cd player in his old van cuz it didn't have a repeat button.

I do that to! I can listen to songs over and over and over again, and sometimes I'll even skip to a particular part of the song I like.

When I was much younger, yes. Now, not so much. I don't have time to listen to music much so I like a variety of songs.

Not repeatedly back to back, but I can happily listen to my faves many times a day for day after day. Drives DS nuts, since many of my faves are Xmas carols, and I tend to keep playing and singing them for several months.

For me, it is not usually one song but a group of CDs or one CD. I can listen to Dave Mathews Band all day long. There is something about his voice and then all those instruments (horns and violin) that just touch me. I will usually put 5 CDs in my stereo and then they stay there for a few weeks or longer as I listen to them over and over again. LOL.
I will do it with the kids' music too.

I several days worth of music on my IPOD, but my favourite 20 or so songs are the ones that I listen to over and over and over......you get the idea
I have them grouped in "my top rated"....and I play that file almost exclusively!!Last edited by IntlMom; 11-11-2008 at 09:09 AM.
