I thought it was good. It's a hard thing to transfer from the book to the movie without being hokey. There were quite a few differences but the gist of the story remained. Overall, I thought it was good!

I was pleased...I fought the urge to go see it again today! As Nichole said, you have to take some license when making a movie, and a small company made the film, as Paramount passed on the project (I guarantee someone lost their job yesterday over THAT!) So, some of the special effects were a bit cheesy, but I guarantee a big company will pick up the next one and that will be ironed out.

That being said, that Robert Pattinson is one intense guy. I caught my breath more than once with the tension he created with just his facial expressions.

    Me-ow!

Amy-I am SO glad I am not the only one that thought some of the special effects were cheesy!

There were some things that kind of irritated me and others that made me giggle. Overall though, I really liked it! And, I am pretty sure I'll be going to see it again.

Well, I loved it personally. I only found a few small differences and chalked off the rest as creative twisting, KWIM? I even spent the extra 3$ to go to the midnight premier. *blush* But overall it was a good movie.

    LOVED it!
One scene I didn't care for but I won't spoil that part for everyone.

My daughter thought it really wasn't like the book, but she loved it anyway. I think I'll try to see it this weekend.
