Any TV programs that irritate you?

Why am I asking?
I have to sit behind the computer here today and prepare my English lesson for this Thursday.
The kids are at home, it is lousy weather and they are watching a DVD that my daughter received as a gift for her birthday.
It is the 'Lamas'. This is a Dutch comedy show with stand up comedians who get various themes that they have to improvise on together.
This is a show that you either love or HATE!!!!!!!!
Words cannot describe how much I hate this show!!
The folks who star in it actually sometimes scream at each other - all in the name of comedy.
I am now giving up - I will do my work behind the computer later - they can watch it while I do some grocery shopping. I have had enough!!!!
(BTW I have told them, enjoy it now, when I come home, the TV is off.)
I am waaay too good to these guys - I am the one going out in the rain.

Is there any show that annoys you to distraction!!!

Wife Swap.........grates on my nerves. I have only watched it a couple of times but I find it annyoying (I am sure some of it is to make the show more interesting supposedly) that when the rules change the family is all up in arms wont do anything but the swapped out wife was supposed to play their way. If you are going to agree to go on a tv show and experience different things then do it. Ugh.

Undercover MIllionaire....I like the premise so I got sucked in but how undercover can one be dragging along a camera crew.

I dislike Cheaters and the Judge So-So shows. Which my DH loves.
I was brought up not to air ones dirty landry and the people parade their bad behavior out there. Drives me nuts! Nothing is personal or private. Some folks have no persoanl pride anymore. And the word discrete has vanished from their vocabularys.
I also dislike programs that show women off as being stupid.
Guess this is why I spend alot of time reading. Much more worth my time.

MIND OF MENCIA. The guy is rude, not even funny, is known for stealing other comedians jokes to the point of people on stage to stop speaking when he walks in the room.... he seems to get really loud and say the b word at the end of everything just to get a laugh... The guy isn't even Mexican... he's half german, his real name is Ned Holsten...ugh...know what that makes him? That's right. Racist.

btw, just for laughs: he actually got caught on live radio stealing someone's work when trying to defend himself against those claims...too funny for words.

Sarah Silverman...anything she is on I will not watch- at all... she is disgusting, and seems to revolve around jokes of incest and nasty things like that. I am all about comedy that pushes the limits, but she goes waaaay too far.

Also, The O'Reilly Factor with Bill O'Reilly. Almost more than any other program on television. And I am pretty conservative leaning. He is nothing but a rude, irritating gas bag. He seems to like to get loud and belligerent about anything he doesn't like and will not talk about things like a rational person for longer than 5 secs...all while touting his "unbiased" views that give everyone a chance.

Also, anything that shows that "New York" character on VH1. Do not get me started.

My DH likes to watch shows that feature men building vehicles. Yawn. He also will watch anything about large machinery. Double yawn. What really drives me nuts is when he yells at me while I'm doing something in another room to "Come look at this!"

Um yeah, great. I don't give a $h!t...just like last time.

Oh, and I can't stand CSI Miami. David Caruso gets on my everloving nerves. His voice irritates me to no end. That whiny blonde on there bugs me, too.

And then there's Walker, Texas Ranger, which is about as cheesy as you can get. I refer to it as melodramatic bull$h!t.

I really dislike......

Reba- one person on a show who acts stupid can be funny. A show where every single person is stupid is just........stupid! LOL My dh loves this show!

Mash - Don't know what it is about it, but I hate it! Again, my dh loves it!

Any show with that Miranda Cosgro on it. Drake and Josh, ICarly, etc. She grates on my nerves like you wouldn't believe!

Corey in the house is another one that my kids love and I despise!

Anything cop or crime related...... Cops, Forensic Files, Cold Case Files, Snapped, Operation Repo, Parking Wars, etc.

My dh hates all these shows which is why I had a Direct Tv box installed in the bedroom! I have my own comfy little nest back there and I can watch what I want, when I want!

CSI Miami drives me nuts, David is so fake with his dumba$$ "side profile" look every 30 seconds and everyone else on it is fake and bimbo like, even the men!!!

Then there is the kids shows, suite life of Zack and cody, Icarly, hannah montana, drake and josh, blah, blah, blah, we watch "I Love Lucy" and my kids LOL!!!

IF I watch TV, and that is a girnormous IF, It is either andy griffith, i love lucy, little house on the prairie, the waltons, CSI (the real one in vegas!), or ghost whisperer (that one is on the line for me!) I am a anti TV type, I hate the stupid thing with a passion and I believe I am wasting my precious braincells when I watch it!!! I have gone so far as to put a block on anything rated above PG13 so they dont watch those ROFLMAO

I think every single sitcom that is currently on could be classified this way for me. I watch VERY few shows. They are:
American Idol
Amazing Race
Biggest Loser
Hell's Kitchen
Deadliest Catch
Man vs. Wild
What not to Wear
That might be it...none of these shows are drama/comedy stuff. They are all either reality, or informational type of thing.

I hate all reality tv shows with the exception of The Amazing Race and any of the Gordon Ramsey kitchen shows. Also do not like The Simpsons or Family Guy.

Oh you and me both! We only have a convertor box, no cable or dish, and most of the time it doesn't come in clearly so no TV for us but I LOVE Carol Burnett -all time best comedienne, she can kill me with just a look I swear!

We ditched the TV a couple of years ago. The programs that annoyed me were the CSI and Law & Order clones. About stuff that I don't want to be thinking about at bedtime.
And TV news is a big joke. A few years ago, we were without TV for 2 weeks and listened to NPR for our news. When we got back to TVland, the news looked and sounded just like cartoons!
Once in a while, there's something on that I'd like to see, but I just wait for the DVD.

I hate reality TV in general. I can't name any shows I hate in particular, because I don't watch any of them. I've never really seen a reality show that has piqued my interest, but "American Idol" and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" don't seem too terrible. I do think that the premise of that show "The Moment of Truth" was deplorable, but I never watched it.

Well I guess technically one of my favorite shows is reality TV. I like "Forensic Files", but I guess I just never think of it as a reality show.

God, I can't stand Lost. Every person on that show should have killed themselves off by now.
