    Talking Lost Season 5

Lost is back on January 21st at 8 PM EST

I am so excited. Lost is one of the best shows ever created. I love, love, love it. :woohoo:

I'm hoping they will re-run the last episode of Season 4 before Season 5 starts. I have a horrible memory, and I can't remember everything that happened in that episode.

Who else is going to watch?

ETA: I just read that it's actually starting at 8:00 vs. the 9:00 time I originally posted. Maybe they'll be showing the last episode from season 4 then?

I think the Sci-Fi network is showing past seasons of Lost, I don't remember which night, but it is like 3 or 4 episodes together.

I can't wait either! I absolutely love this show, and have a great time trying to figure out just what the heck is going on!!

Love it! I read somewhere that they will show the last episode from last season the same night as the season opener- I can't wait!

But surely you didn't forget that they MOVED THE ISLAND! Holy cow that was cool.

I didn't start watching Lost until last year. Before that I watched them all at once on Netflix. I had never seen the show, but I knew lots of people who really liked it, so I wanted to see what all the hub-bub was about Now I'm hooked.

Dave didn't want to watch it at first (he was already watching a few series and didn't want to add to that), but I convinced him to watch because I wanted to tell him everything about the show. I loved it from the moment I watched the first DVD!

My hubby and I are LOST addicts, too. I have to say though that we are not as into it as we were in the beginning. The way they only do 6 episodes every 6 months has really caused us to lose interest a bit. Half the time we can't even remember what happened! Also, it can be really confusing with all the flashbacks and flash-forwards. We will be watching it til the end, though.

I'm a huge Lost fan and can't wait for the new season. They are playing previous seasons on Scifi on Monday evenings. I can't remember what time they start but I think they play 5 episodes in a row. LOVE IT!

:agree: it was much better when I could watch Lost whenever I wanted (when I could watch the DVD's) vs. waiting at least a week to see another episode.

Actually I think the reason they do the January start is so they can show the entire 20 episode season uninterrupted- unlike all the shows that start in September/October and then have reruns sprinkled in. Last year was the first time they were trying this and then they didn't get the uninterrupted season anyway because of the writers strike.

I don't like waiting until January but I do like that you get a new episode every week once the season starts. JMO

I heard that there will only be 8 episodes this season. Does anybody know if that's true?

If you cant remember what happened last season, log into abc.com and you can watch season 1-4. My dd and I started watching season 1 this summer and now have the last 2 episodes of season 4 to finish.

I always check her site for spoilers. Love them. I was really surprised by some of the answers to some of the questions in the last few eppies last year. wow! can't wait for this season! I've watched from the very first eppy in season one. Then I got hubby hooked on it from the re-runs during that summer. Now I have to record them so he can watch them the next day. LOL

I've been waiting so impatiently for this. This is my favorite tv show, and I don't work that day so I will not have to worry about missing the first 20 minutes. I don't get off work until 8:00. Finally something worth turning the tv on for.

Season 4's finale is being shown tonight at 8:00 EST. It's one of those "enhanced" versions where they show little tidbits on the bottom. I find those a bit distracting, but they do often point things out that I missed the first time around.
