Me too! I was so annoyed with last week's 3-hour show. I thought it was going to be 1-hour of recaps and 2-hours of new stuff, but the whole thing was recaps. And now they're doing MORE recaps!

I am so addicted to this show. I want to know what the deal is with the island, why Locke changed his name, what is the deal with the numbers, what is the giant black monster thingie...ya know?

who the heck was that woman Ben was talking to? They played music like it was supposed to mean something when she turned around???

Ditto! I am so glad you posted that because I was going to if nobody else did. They made it seem as if we were supposed to know who that chick was. My husband and I both have been racking our brains and we can't come up with who she is. Anybody know?

That was my original thought but he said his mother was at Oxford and Ben is in LA... still could somehow be her but I'm not sure.

And how the heck do you fall asleep while LOST is on, lol?

We have seen the woman in the white hair before! In season 2 or 3 (can't remember), she was a woman in a ring shop when Desmond was looking for a ring for his girlfriend. The lady said something ominous, but I can't remember what. The woman was also in a picture on the desk of someone a few seasons ago, too.

The numbers they typed in every 108 minutes were used to keep the island in one "time."

I love this show! And the pieces are finally starting to come together!

I guess until the Oceanic 6 all get back to the island, the ones left there will keep jumping thru time? hmm....
and I have to say...Neil was getting on my nerves! I think I would've smacked him eventually LMAO!
I totally loved the pendulum swinging back and forth! too cool!
and that stick going in sawyer's foot omg! ouch! wonder if he'll take one of the soldier's boots? I know I would lol
Poor Hurley. I swear. I wish he would catch a break lol

oh! and I love Rose and Bernard! always have.

Episode 3x8, Flashes Before Your Eyes
Desmond went into her pawn shop to buy a ring for Penny, but when he decided on the ring, she told him he couldn't have it and said that he was supposed to have second thoughts and not buy the ring. She said he breaks Penny's heart, which puts him on a path to get on the island and push the button and save the world. She tells him that he can't change what is going to happen.
Episode 5x2, The Lie
Ms. Hawking makes markings on a chalk board and on a computer as a large pendulum swings behind her making markings on a chalk board on the floor. She goes upstairs and tells Ben that he only has 70 hours to finish what he needs to do. He says it's not enough time and she says if he can't get them all to come back then, "God help us all."

My poor DH. Last night within the first parts of the show, I was saying...okay we are in the present now, okay now we are back in the past, okay wait I think this might be the future. He just started waving his hands in the air and stood up and said "That's it, I just don't have the mentality to keep up with this without going insane anymore, I need to get off the ride. I'll be outside."

...We've lost a lostie.

But onto the show, Hello Richard, my favorite other. The hotter other. I must admit I got caught up in the episode and found myself lost with what was going on since it was jumping time all over the place. I think I'm going to have to re-watch it and fully take it all in again. But it was a great start to hopefully a great season.

My favorite line of the episode. "James. Juliette. Nice to see you." - Locke.

LOL yea I liked that one too! The three J's LOL and Richard....I know what ya mean! I would really like to know his background story! seriously, he's been there when John was a tot and then when Ben was kid and now he's there again, always off to the side giving "advice". Who's the bigger mind game player? hmm...
