    Default Fireproof (DVD)

My dh and I watched it last night. Loved it! It really is a great little film IMO and really makes you think.

    I highly recommend it.

And for those who know nothing of the film it is a Christian film starring Kirk Cameron. To check out the trailer or learn more you can visit the film's site at http://www.fireproofthemovie.com/

I can't wait to see it. I'm thinking about getting it for dh for Valentine's Day. He loved 'Facing The Giants' and 'Flywheel', the church's other movies.

He'll love it then! I had dh buy it for us. I knew I'd enjoy it. My parents saw it in the movie theater but it wasn't shown near us. I have read the novelization of the film and really enjoyed it. I just got The Love Dare from the library and if I like it I'm sure I'll purchase my own copy.

Thanks for posting this about the movie. I heard about it on the radio from Focus on the Family. I checked our local library and it's on order. I'm 1 out of 20 to get the video when it comes in. Yay...FREE!!!

Saw it at the theater, it was really good. Someday, I'd like to get The Love Dare.

I watched this the other night. It is really a good movie. It did make me realize how good of a marriage I have. The one thing that got me about the movie was that to me it was one sided. I mean the man was wrong on so many things, but the wife wasn't trying either but it was never really brought up. Anyway, I am just that much for thankful for the husband I do have after seeing it.

I believe my mom saw who was at fault differently then you. My mom kept saying "that woman is hateful". Hubby said "She is hurt and angry" Didn't change my mom's mind about the lady. I think my mom thought it was all the lady's fault.

I saw them both at fault but one person has to step forward and change things or things will never change. In the main characters that was the husband and in his parent's relationship it was the mother.

    I really enjoyed the movie.

What's uncommon about the movie is that the husband stepped up to make the changes, usually it's the wife. The Love Dare book is changing quite a few marriages in our church.

Dh and I watched this movie last night. Like others mentioned, it was a great movie and I recommend it. I think we are planning to buy the 6 week study. I'm just waiting for it to come back in stock at the store. Has anyone done this? I also went to the library and placed a hold on The Love Dare, which I should have in a couple of days.
