Octuplets mom wants US to send her money........

I saw on CNN this morning that the octuplets mom has a new website out. She has pictures of the babies and is asking for donations from all of us to help her raise her kids! She accepts all major credit cards and has a Paypal account to make your donating easier! The more I hear about this woman the worse I feel for her kids!

Irritating as it is, I guess it's the business of those who want to give her their hard earned money. I will be mad if/when she starts getting welfare or foodstamps or any of my tax dollars.

The sad thing is, the kids are going to end up suffering the consequences of her actions.

Get ready to be mad then, Tiffany. I'd say taxpayer support is already a given. How else can an unemployed single mom with fourteen kids, most of whom are special needs, provide anything at all for her family?

Before the octuplets she was already receiving close to $500/month food stamps and close to $2000 / month for handicapped children. Can you imagine what she will get now?

Before the babies were born she was receiving nearly 500.00 in food stamps a month and three of her older kids get disability checks each month.

I was just about to post that. It's been checked into and she was receiving exactly what Debbie-Cat posted before she impregnated herself with 8 more little innocent children that she will not be responsible for. She first denied receiving any form of welfare or aid, and then later recanted when it was found out about the food stamps and the disability payments, to which she stated she was confused and didn't think of food stamps being welfare.

This woman obviously has other things on her mind than just extending the family she loves so much and filling her heart with joy and children. That's why she's receiving such a huge backlash from people now. It's seems to be about fame, recognition and money. The more that's found out about her, the worse it keeps getting.

Personally, I hope all 14 children end up in loving homes....elsewhere, with families that will love them and take care of them. There I said it.

Here is a stupid question............

Will she have to claim the donations she receives as income? If so and she receives a lot of money and items then it will reduce her federal assistance won't it?

I can't say that I'm surprised. I just didn't want to know about it.

I'm already pi$$ed about where my money goes... bail outs, car companies, welfare to able bodied people. I just don't get it.

Did y'all see the pictures of the 8 brand new babies? Some of them loook so sad!! My heart goes out to them

It takes all kinds to make the world go around! That being said, I knew there wasn't something right about this situation the first time I heard the story. Nobody in their right mind would do what she has done, or the doctor for that matter. He needs to have his medical license revoked and the state needs to figure out how she managed to pay for said procedure while collecting food stamps on the six she already had!

Personally, I think she is mentally unstable and if she, herself is unable to provide for those children she doesn't deserve to have them...

It's one thing to have children if you can take care of them, it's totally another to continue having children when you already require help to take care of the ones you already have.
