Gran Torino
I work part time at the local movie theater and my hubby and I went to see this last night (i get in free, but the price is only $5 each anyway)....We rarely ever go to movies, but he and I haven't done anything by ourselves for a long time......Anyway, YOU SO NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE.....It has ALOT of foul language (which I cannot stand) but I had been warned about it....It was so good I really didn't even notice it....NO KIDS, of course, but Clint Eastwood was wonderful in this part and the boy and girl were also....I can't say much , but it has alot to do with being racist, but I think this is one of the best movies I have ever seen.....Anyone else see this one???? I'd love to know what you thought.....

We saw this also and loved it. We went to the matinee on Xmas for the discount.
This was one of Clint's best. I did not like the ending but I told DBF that when the CD comes out, we want it so we can memorize all of the "special" sayings he had.
A very, very good movie. It should have won an Oscar.

I agree....some of the sayings were hilarious......i loved the part when he was teaching him to "man up" at the barber shop.....yes, it should have won an Oscar......
