Question Does anyone enjoy reading historical fiction?

I love reading historical fiction and am drawn to the civial war era. I love reading Gilbert Morris because many of his books are from this era.

    How about you?

CJ they are my all time favorite! I will read anything historical!

Lately I haven't been reading, if I pick up one book, I have to read 20 more! I am very compulsive!

I like historical fiction as well. I actually prefer it to contemporary fiction--I guess it's the romantic in me!

I love historical fiction too! Something in me is drawn to the 19th century and I love to read about the pioneers.

I've read a few and really liked them, but then I stopped because I didn't know anyone else that liked them and couldn't get recommendations.

CJ, can you recommend some good authors? I love the Civil War era too. Thanks

I am a historical Romance fan myself. I am choosy though. I don't like S E X books. I like Romance. sometimes it is hard to find one without the other. I would like to read a few non-romance types. Any suggestions?

A great historical romance writer that I really like is Rosalind Laker. Her stuff is researched really well and her heroines are really neat. Also Diana Gabladon.
