    Smile ISO Book Recommendations

I need a new book/author--fiction please. I like to read books by Maeve Binchy, Jodi Picoult (though I have gotten a few from the library that I just couldn't get into, which surprised me because I really enjoyed reading a few of hers), Elizabeth Berg (LOVE her stuff), John Grisham.

I don't like romance novels and would prefer something on the light side.

    Any recommendations for me?

    TIA

I personally love the Janet Evanovich series that starts with One for the Money. She has several series out but this is my favorite. It combines a lighthearted romance, comedy altogether with a mystery.

Have you tried the elm creek quilt series. Not too much romance and is a light read.

Have you read the "Miss Julia" series by Ann Ross? A friend of mine just told me about them. She said they are very funny and a light read.

I read those--the entire series last summer. Loved them!
