Anyone Watch The Tudors?

I started watching with Dave, but I was having trouble keeping the people straight--the men in particular. In the first season, I couldn't tell the dark haired men apart from each other

Anyway, it was too confusing for me, so I stopped watching, but Dave continued to get the disks from Netflix. Then last night I noticed that Season 3's premier episode was on "instant watch", so I watched it with him. He said he'd watch them again if I want to start back at the beginning. He seems to think I'd really love the series.

Does anyone watch it?

I've only seen maybe 1 whole eppie combined. We don't get Showtime in our package and we have it for 3 months as a thank you from our provider. So, I see no reason to start watching something I know I'll not keep up with. The guy that play the king is very familiar. I'm sure I saw him in some tv program, maybe when he was younger? LOVE the costumes! I'm a Rennie and the costumes are so beautiful. * drool*

I've watched all of season 1 and all but the last episode of season 2. I saw the free sneak at episode 1 of season 3 on DirecTV. I can't keep all of the characters straight, but the main ones I can.

I'm getting most of them through blockbuster in the mail as I'm not paying for Showtime.
