er finale
did any1 else watch it? i watched the interview thing they had on before the actual epi and i was surprised they had jorja fox (sarah on csi) on it. i loved seeing hallee hirsh (rachel greene, dr. greene's daughter) and the kid that played dr. peter benton's son (eriq la salle) all grown up. i will probbably go to the library later on today and get the older season dvds. lol, i remember the first epi that i watched was when we were at my uncle's house and my aunt had it on. it was when this lady had come in with belly pain. she thought it was food poisoning but it turned out she was in labor. she thought she was in menopause and b/c of that carter and benton were shocked.

I watched it as well. I missed the interviews in the beginning. I enjoyed the episode, there were parts that were touching, but I do have to agree, the ending left much to be desired.

Our local NBC affiliate started losing their feed at about, oh, 10:45, so we missed most of the ending.
I am hoping (futilely, it appears LOL) that the ending was Rachel Greene having been accepted at County, and Carter having "the talk" with her about how she will be setting the tone in the future. That would make things come in a nice, full circle.
During the first hour, DH and I were commenting on how if the ER creative team (writers, etc) had worked at *this* level for the last few seasons, we would have remained enthusiastic fans, LOL.Gratitude.

I didn't watch ER since Dr. Green died but I did watch last night. I watched the first episode way back when so I figured I would watch the last even though I had no clue what was going on most of the time.
The interview show before was pretty good.Nancy

I really liked the ending---the way it came full circle from Dr. Green helping out Carter as a newbie when the show first started years ago, to Carter helping out Green's daughter.
I hadn't watched it much the last several years. I prefer the older episodes that are in syndication.
But I was curious to see how it was wrapped up. All in all, I thought it was good.

it probbably wont happen but it would be pretty kool if they brought it back and it started with rachel greene as a dr and have some of the old ones above her. it would sorta be like degrassi the next generation.

I haven't watched in years, but I watched the finale.
Funny, I thought the ending was entirely appropriate. It's the ER. Life goes on. No matter what is going on in their lives, their jobs continue, and at the ER, there is always someone ready and waiting to help. I don't know...I thought it was a pretty good ending. Quite representative of the whole show.My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

I haven't watched er since it first began. I am watching the finale right now. I don't know the people anymore or the storyline between characters but I think it is pretty good.
