I haven't seen the show, but I have seen the commercials for it. What did you think?

I saw it, wasn't impressed and Sandra Lee gets on my nerves. Maybe it will get better.

I really liked it. I liked the way she broke down the recipes and compared pricing.

The premise is "delicious and money-saving," and given the current economic climate and the trendiness of seasonal cooking, it's smartly-timed.

I also know that some people find her annoying but I feel like with this show its less about the decor and more about flavor.

Well I have to agree with you about the less decor and maybe she is coming to her senses here....however..how can she say what a price of bread is here nor there? She bought day old bread, yes, we all do that too. It's not rocket science.

I have to say I've never learned a thing from her. She encourages you to buy spices in the packets like taco seasoning and even Italian dressing and says that it's cheaper this way. Bull crap, from here it's not.

Like I said, I will give the show some time.

She is a bit annoying in her other show, but when I do see it (which isn't very often at all), I mostly watch to chuckle over her matchy-matchy everything.

As far as the new show goes, IMO all shows like this aren't going to be news to most people on this site. They're geared more toward the person who isn't used to being frugal or watching their money.

I'm going to try to catch the next show and will post my opinion then.
