    Default Book Recommendation

I just finished Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah.

Loved it. It was long, but I breezed through it because I was so into the story. A tearjerker, but a realistic look at life and friendship. Thumbs up!

I just finished it last night. It was a wonderful book. I feel like Kate and Tully are my real friends, I grew up in the same era as them so I could relate to absolutely every part of their youth. You are right about the tear jerker ending, I was in tears on the last chapters.

This was a fantastic book. Of course I'm a book listener! But I never got tired of this, while Memory Keepers Daughter..... thank goodness I stayed with it because it has a great ending.

I may get one of her other books from the library tonight (I requested this one, but I'm on a waiting list for it at the moment).

Have you read any of her other books?

Thanks for the book recommendation...I looked it up and it certainly sounds like something I would like. I'll give it a try. I'm always looking for new books.

wish I could read the books. But when I sit down to read nothing else gets done. Listening on CD, lets me sew, quilt, whatever. Tomorrow I'm picking up the latest in the Elm Creek quilters.... The Lost Quilter. I love reading about women and quilting or knitting.

I just got this from the library today. I had started reading another one by her (Between Sisters) yesterday, but I only read a few pages, so I'm going to switch over to Firefly Lane instead.

I get my Elm Creek quiting book tonight, the library finally called. Then they give you 3 days to pick it up or it's on to the next person. Can't wait to start listening.
