The next foodnetwork star thread
Did anyone watch it last night? I've been waiting for this for weeks now. lol I so enjoy it. I have to say from what I have seen so far in the commercials and their background, these people seem very likeable. I guess time with tell though.

Yep...I've been waiting for this for weeks as well! There are a few who have rubbed me the wrong way already! And a few that I'm rooting for.
I can't wait for next weeks episode...looks like a lot of drama next week."We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

I saw it. It should be a good season

Good thing Debbie (team leader) had such a good personality because I probably would have sent her home if I were the judges (for not getting all the ingredients and for not taking responsibility for the horrible dessert).

The middle-aged guy with the long-ish hair and gorgeous smile - what a cutie!!! I'd watch him every day! But alas, my heart belongs to Alton Brown and Guy Fieri!!!

I thought I'd set my DVR and apparently did NOT!! Hopefully they'll do as they usually do, and play last week's before the new one...

I agreed with the dude(can't remember the names yet) they cut tonight and I thought it was obvious it was going to be him.

Definitely glad it was him since it was pretty clear that he didn't want to be there as much as the others did. He just wanted to be on tv.
I was pretty disappointed that he and the other guy offered to help the woman plate her food and then pretty much threw her under the bus. It could have been edited to seem worse than it was, but sheesh.

Yeah, I was going to type that last night but was too tired. lol. The other guy at least said he didn't want to throw her under the bus. Since the judges gave her a high review, he had to open his mouth.(the guy that got cut) I thought that was crappy, but they cut and edit so much that you can't really tell the true conversations and what really happened. lol

I agree with the three out of four that are left.

I hate it that Michael had to go!! But I can't believe he said that about not liking the camera....oooops. He knew it as soon as it was out of his mouth I think. I liked his humor.
I don't understand why Debbie is still there. I think Melissa or Jeff will win (I like Jeff but I think Melissa has done better so far) I love this show!!!

I liked Katie way better than Jamica and thought Jamica should have been the one sent home last week. I like Katie because of her POV and the foodnetwork is lacking in the organic/healthy thing.
I was sad to see Michael go myself but I don't think it was not so much about the camera remark, but more that his cooking is not really that impressive. I think many people would dig his personality though and he was fun to watch.
Debbie is there because she can cook well and they seem a little partial to her. I could really see myself watching Melissa and Jeff. I like them both very much.

My favs are also Melissa and Jeffrey.
Michael bugged me...I had enough of his "Who loves ya baby?" he really got on my nerves on last night's episode in Miami.
Don't like Debbie. She does not own up to her mistakes. There is always an excuse w/her. But the judges saved her yet again."We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
