Ooh! That sounds great. I'm going to put it on hold at the library. I love books like that (historical).

The Shanghai Girls - by Lisa See. Just started listening last night, and it grabbed my attention immediately and the story line is not predictable!

Dirt Roads and High Topped Shoes sounds like an interesting book. I just went over to our library's website to see if I could reserve a copy, but it's not listed there yet I was able to reserve The Shanghai Girls, though. I'm about 23rd on the list and there's 9 copies circulating so the wait shouldn't be but a couple weeks. Thank you Nana2two and vickilynn for the recommendations!
