I love puzzles too!! My 20 yr old, twin 13 yr olds and 6 yr old will do them with me. Hubby and the 18 yr old are not interested at all. We have alot of fun doing them together. I agree with what others have said about the mat I got one for xmas a few years ago and it really sucked. It is definitely not worth the money.

I enjoy puzzles and feel they are an excellent means of helping kids develop logical skills. DD just turned 8 so we stick to puzzles between 300 and 500 pieces.

Just about everything seems to be made in China these days, but I was thrilled to find that the Great American Puzzle Company still makes puzzles in the USA, of recycled materials no less.

    We like jigsaw puzzles.

We also like to play board games or card games. I'm trying to get my husband to learn to play cribbage with me before our next trip to see family.

Add me to the list of jigsaw lovers, but I'm a stingy one. I'm one of those who sits hours on end working them. I won't let anyone else help, hubby tries and I tell him to go away. This is my hobby!! I like the really colorful hard puzzles. I just found one the other day that I want. It is all different colored lady bugs and if I remember right it was a 1500 pc puzzle which is my favorite. My problem is I get nothing else done when I'm doing them. I have several that I've done and saved. I also have 4 that I haven't done yet. I also like working Logic Problems.

We love doing jigsaw puzzles and do them year round. I often get them at garage sales (new ones cost too much) but you are taking a chance as some pieces may be missing. Finished an extra pretty one we got from my inlaws as we were helping them move. It's a vintage (lol, I must be too because I'm 5 years older than the puzzle) 1965 Springbok titled "Wild Flowers" by Maynard Reece.

Love them. But don't have time very often....
Every Christmas one of our traditions is to set up a card table and start a puzzle and everyone works on it between Christmas and New Years... It is something we all look forward to.

I do not but SO does. I removed his coffee table, in his living room, and put up a big folding table just for doing jigsaws. He passes them onto a friend who's daughter does them also.

I used to do them quite a bit, but haven't in a while. My fiancee brought a cat with her, so I would be finding pieces all over the house.

I liked doing them with my Grandma (my favorite person in the world!). She had lots of them and always got more for Christmas and for her birthday. My parents have a small table in their kitchen that no one ever eats at and we used that to set them up and could leave them 'til we wanted to go back to them. My Mom and the kids would help also. Sometimes it would just be my Grandma and I and we could sit there quietly together for hours talking sometimes and just lost in our own thoughts sometimes. Since she died, I haven't really wanted to do them anymore although my Mom has asked. It makes me too sad! It was kind of my Grandma's thing, ya know?

Yes, those roll up puzzle mats are a waste of money.

I like the old fashioned puzzles with lots of pieces, and look for them on eBay when they are cheap.

I haven't worked on any for a couple winters but I do enjoy them and still have some to do.

I like the roll up mat.........not the greatest, but when you have to move it, I haven't found anything better.

I can usually find tons of them at the thrift shops and often the boxes are still sealed. Have bought a couple for gifts.
