I can't believe that Kate didn't go. Pam doesn't really bother me much, I don't know why. I really want Niecy to do well.

As much as I dislike her, I thought Pam did a good job last night.

I don't know about anyone else, but this whole season -- so far -- has been a little ho-hum, yawnsville IMO. Maybe I'm just not into it as much any more.

WOOHOO!! America & the judges finally saw the light!! Kate got the axe! She should get kudos for just trying but the crutch that the judges give to her to help enable her poor dancing skills - what gives? Its only helping to further embarrass herself. Jake & Buzz aren't the typical athlete and didn't get special treatment, not that they needed it.

I know why they kept Kate, hoping she'd be the underdog that rises above which makes great TV but we all saw this coming a while back...it just wasn't happening. I wonder if she even wanted to be on the show as in if she approached them as another avenue for income or if the show approached her? Thats what makes the show entertaining...the celebrity's 'determination' to learn, change and succeed. Kate said she was determined but I think she wasn't able to channel her determination of being a great mom into being a better dancer.

Just wish we could've gotten a few more chances to see Shannen give it a go, she improved dramatically between show #1 & #2.

Nicole & Derek's tango rocked and Jake & Chelsie's # was eye opening lol him in his tighty whiteys and her breast that wouldn't stay put LOL

YES!!! It happened...........WAHOO!!

I truly thought if I had to watch her WALK around the dance floor ONE MORE WEEK I would puke!!

If I thought she was even TRYING I might not be so harsh.......but she was just there for the 'show' (and maybe the $).......come on!!

THAT MADE MY NIGHT!!!

POOR TONY!!!! I wonder if he will EVER get a partner that he can truly teach to dance??

I sooo totally agree....was very tempted to fast fwd through Kate's dance. DF was on phone and I think playing WoW and he heard through someone on his game that she was off the show (I hadn't watched it yet and was busy cleaning the kitchen)

I hooted SO loud my dad came to see what was going on in the kitchen ROFL

And yes, clearly she was there for the money aspect but not sure how she got there. I think she said in one of her last over dramatic episodes of J+K plus 8 that she would never be able to support her kids and their lifestyle now on an average persons 'nursing income' alone. (Newsflash to Kate...some people are doing it and have done it and been doing it for years)

Side thought: Is this a case of giving her a fish vs teaching her how to fish for life? (yes I know, I'm not being nice to Kate right now)

I was pleased with the outcome.

Did you all see what Pam said about not using props in her next dances, "Except for THESE! (as she points to her breasts)". Was that necessary?? Really??? She's just so trashy.

I was originally hoping Kate would do well. Out of all the male pros, I thought Tony could bring out the best in her. She ended up looking worse than she did on Jon and Kate Plus 8. On DWTS, she came off negative and depressed...you rarely saw a smile from her. Even though she couldn't dance well, trying to have fun with the experience would have cast her in a much better light.

I heard on one of the morning shows that she made close to a QUARTER OF A MILLION dollars for that little 'gig'!!!!!!!!

I ALWAYS wondered what they made......well.........'they said' (think it was on Kathy Lee and Hoda)........they get paid from $200,000 to $250,000......BASE.......then for each extra week they stay on the show it is another $5,000 to $10,000 added to the pot.........they didn't say what they get for winning.

And I am sure all the travel that some have to do --while on the show (for some other job) probably gets paid for by DTWS.

NOT A BAD GIG!!! I could sure dance with Tony for far less than that.

She does need to provide for her kids though right? I still get the impression (from what I've seen of her in interviews) that she is the only one that ever brought $ into their household (while still married). She basically implied Jon was useless

I'm afraid to see what her next 'stint' to earn income will be.

Just watched tonight's results show...I honestly can say that the competition portion of the show has finally begun! There was no one person that should go home...that I thought.

I'm glad the popularity contest portion of the show is over

Sad to see Jake go as he's improved so much.

Can't wait to see what next week's show brings.
