The Places You Will Go by Dr Suess. I read all the Dr Suess books to my kiddos but that was my favorite.

Oh! those are all great books. My fave and my children's fave is _Goodnight Moon_.

Darlene - funny you should mention the mouse. I was reading this book to my 3 year old and he pointed out the mouse in each of the 'colorful' pictures. I never knew all these years that he was in *all* of the colored pics. I just thought he was in the first one! LOL! BTW, my 3y-o is the fourth child of mine that I have read that book to. I couldn't believe I never noticed the mouse before he pointed it out to me. :/

The favorite book that I am thinking of this time of year has got to be: _Jamberry_ I read that to my kiddos every year at this time to get them psyched up for berries...berries for jam.
