More commercials that you HATE!
I am really hating those Esurance commercials with that guy whose the 'saver'. Why do I wanna punch him?

I hate the Nationwide commercials with the guy with the old-fashioned phone. Bleck! They're trying to be funny like some of the other insurance commercials are, but it's a huge fail for me. I have a weird funny bone. . .

One that bugs me is the Bounce dryer bar commercial where the lady talks about how busy she is and by using the dryer bar rather than "wasting all that time grabbing a dryer sheet", she has all this extra time that helps her out in some great way.
If taking literally 3 seconds to grab a sheet and toss it in is going to make or break you, you have bigger problems.

Aaron's rental commercial where the blond chick sings that gawd-awful song as she does a bad version of the electric slide down the middle of the Aaron's rental showroom floor.
I also cannot stand the Virginia College commercials. Like the one where the girl is getting her hair done and she asks the stylist "Where did you learn to do THAT?" Or the one where the mom asks the son how his day was and he responds "No Mom, how was YOUR day? The acting is so bad in those commercials it is a good thing they are advertising teaching classes on cosmetology or medical office assistants and not acting lesson.DD (19)

Anything that I hear more than once an hour gets on my nerves. There's a few they play repeatedly on channels I listen to while I'm sewing.
One that particularly irritates me is a birth control commercial. The woman is walking around the grocery store wondering if she took her pill that morning or not, while her kids wreck the place. I always want to yell "You better figure it out honey, because obviously you can't handle taking care of the brats you've already got!"
The local cable company has one where they attempt humor by accusing the competition of kicking puppies. I think it's sick to even joke about animal cruelty.Use it up, Wear it out,

Car commercials, except the VW superbowl commercials. They were unique, cute and someone really did a great job thinking of something new. There is a new one out, I don't know who for, but they play it back to back and I run to pause the tv every time. It's a goup of people in a meeting and a guy is rattling on stupidly to someone on a phone and then the little bobblehead pops up on screen.

I've already ranted elsewhere on these forums about this, so forgive me for repeating myself, but I am infuriated by misleading adverts. Any ad that markets food packed with sugar, salt or sat. fat as "healthy" or "good for you" in some way - especially when it is designed to encourage parents to give the product to their children - sends me all kinds of loopy and mad.

This is an example of the kind of misleading thing I mean:

Another Nutella advert that was even more explict than this ^ was eventually banned

Nutella is loaded with fat and sugar, but it's also loaded with awesome, so we'll keep eating it.
I have never seen that commercial though.
I don't really watch TV enough to notice stupid commercials.~Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.~

I agree with all the commercials above (that I've seen) but I also hate all of the Charmin commercials. I will not use it no matter how inexpensive. I do not need to see bears with pieces of TP stuck to their behind... Ugh!
I also have a general dislike for the commercials that are so much louder than the tv showsStacey

Haha! That literally made me laugh out loud - very true. I actually love Nutella so it pains me to complain about it, but not even I could convince myself that it's an acceptable breakfast substitute for, say, a grapefruit.

I have such a problem with that, too! I think it's meant to be cute, but I find it kind of unnerving.
