I have written articles for the newspaper, letters to the editor of the local paper and well as national magazines (even got them published!).

I'm one of those writers that has been swearing she'd complete a novel or novella since she was a teen.
I don't know what prevents me from completing something~anything, so I could at least submit it.

I'm not very good at writing. You would think with all the reading I do, I would pick up some things but.................

I would love to write childrens books...namely ones geared towards biracial preteen girls. I have come across so many little girls who feel different because books toys ect are either "too white" or "too black" They are neither...I would love to figure out a premise and a character and do this...

I have written several children's books in my mind. My goal is to try to write some Hi-Lo books. They are for children with low reading level but High interest, older kids that don't read well.
I also have a novel outlined. I thought of the idea this summer on vacation in North Carolina.
I work at our library and am constantly trying to read 3 or 4 books at a time.
