Kindle - super cheap books Sunday/Monday

If you have a Kindle, you should check out DailyCheapReads.com today (Mother's Day), tomorrow, and maybe Tuesday as well.

Lots of super cheap books are being posted - free to .99 - throughout the day. The site owner has said that the authors she contacted agreed to leave this low price in place for a "few days", but better to check it sooner rather than later.

It's being done for Mother's Day so many of the books will appeal to women, but there are plenty of "gender neutral" books as well. Some are indie authors, some are mainstream published works, like the first one on my list below.

I've picked up:
The Perfect Storm - .13. I read this some years ago and it was very good. This is an astonishing price for it.
We Bought a Zoo - .48
Fixing Freddie - about a beagle - free
The Quotable Mark Twain - .99
Also a couple of if-fy ones (for my taste) for a penny each. Who knows? I might like them after all.

This is a great opportunity to sock away some really cheap summer reading. Each book has a "buy this book" link, but clicking on it does not actually buy the book - it takes you to it's description page on Amazon, and if you want it, you buy it through Amazon in the usual way.
