Mahalo - my list is getting longer for sure.

Is anyone reading the Gabaldon "Lord John Grey" series?

i just picked up ken folletts pillars of the earth at the goodwill. looks like a good summer read.
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

How weird. Just after I posted this I went to the library. I wondered through the aisles looking for something that seemed up my alley. I was drawn to her books right away. These are the ones I took home.

    The Constant Princess
    The Virgin's Lover
    The Boleyn Inheritance

I tried to see if there were any order to them. Do you know if there is any sequence?

    Thank you.

I know what you mean. I started the series last fall. Book eight can't come out fast enough.

Sorry about the double post. Must of hit the wrong button. Scroll down for my next try.

Did you find that the last book had way more cliffhangers then the previous books? Maybe it is because I don't have another book to dive into right away to pick up the story.

I did go to her website and read some of the excerpts from "Exile".
One is where Jaime and Lord John left off, and then one about Jem in the tunnel. I think there is one about William as well.

I have actually dreamt about these characters. It is that bad.

I needed an "Outlander" fix so I picked up the first two books of the Lord John series. I couldn't get into it though. I missed Jaime and Claire.

Thank you to everyone who posted. We all will have some great books to read for awhile.

Keep your ideas coming. Hopefully it will be a long summer.

I picked up one of the LJG books, but have not started it - perhaps this summer. I made a list of everything offered here and will use it when I go to my favorite (10 cent) bookstore!!

On her website, Philippa Gregory says she does not write her Tudor series books in order. Read chronologically:

The Constant Princess (Katherine of Aragon)
The Other Boleyn Girl (Mary and Anne Boleyn)
The Wise Woman (A young girl forced out of her nunnery and into the real world during the reformation during Anne Boleyn's time of being queen)
The Boleyn Inheritance (Jane Boleyn, Anne of Cleves and Katherine Howard)
The Queen's Fool (A young Jewish girl's story of her service in the court of Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I)
The Virgin’s Lover (Elizabeth I, Robert Dudley and Amy Robsart)
The Other Queen (Mary, Queen of Scots, George Talbot and Bess of Hardwick)

    Enjoy!
