We went to streaming only. I can get movies through Amazon Prime too.

I figure if I really want a DVD then I'll get it through Redbox.

I joined tonight, primarily for DD who is away at college. All she and her roommate wanted was streaming and for only $8 a month, I was happy to subscribe. DS has expressed a little interest in it. I'm sure he will watch a few movies here and there, too.

i am hoping they will add lots of movies for streaming to make it worth it!

She and her BFF used her (the BFF's) account all of the time before she left for college. She is the kind that will watch the same movie repeatedly if she really likes it. She watches her DVD of the Broadway production of Rent every single night when she goes to bed. She's worn out two copies of Cats from watching them so much. And, she loves such a broad range of movies and shows, there is enough to keep her happy for a while. Plus, even if she only watches one movie a month, it is still cheaper than mailing her movies.

Now, for my viewing sake, they could add a bunch more. I am the one who will get bored with the selection. Tonight is a Jeff Dunham on Netflix marathon for me.

I thought about getting her the delivery, but she is bad about returning items when she borrows them. She would get a movie and never send it back.

~They really do need to add more movies to streaming. For example, John Wayne made over 200 movies. Guess how many are available to streaming? Less than 20 and the majority of those are B ones he made in the 1930's before he was a star.
I don't why it's easier for them to put ''Tangled'' on streaming that classics like "Bringing up Baby" or "True Grit".
I would gladly switch to all streaming if they'd at least triple the classics they now offer.~

If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

At current count, I have 470 movies in my instant queue. I'm guessing that 1/5 are television series. I've never understood how people have trouble finding things to watch. I guess I just have a broad range of things I'm willing to watch. Netflix recommendations have almost always been accurate.
