Netflix
Since Netflix have decided to increase their price, thousands have dropped their service. I have decided to just do the streaming service and dropped the dvd 1 out at a time, unlimited. I was paying $10 for it and it went up to $18 for the same service. I understand that there will be price increases but $8 more for the same exact service made me
decide to drop the dvd portion.
I am wondering what everyone else who uses Netflix are doing?Step 1 $207/1500
Step 2 Student loan $160.00 monthly
Schewels paid
Step 3 $252/$15000
Step 4
Step 5 1 child in college graduates 12/12
2 child $50.00
Step 6 $70,761/$93,000
Step 7 Build wealth & give.

I actually upgraded my DVD plan! Since we're military overseas, we're not eligible for streaming. So with the DVD only plan, we were able to upgrade from 5 at a time to 6 at a time and it's the same price as we paid before
ETA: Since Netflix usually takes 7-10 business days to get to us and for them to get it, we like to have more DVD's so we usually have a DVD at home to watch while the others are in transitWife to Air Force DH for 7 years.

I am glad the upgrade helped you especially since you don't have the
option of streaming.Step 1 $207/1500

We went streaming only as well.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

We were doing 3 at a time plus streaming. Switched to 2 at a time plus streaming and are paying the same. We use the mail-in and the streaming religiously.

~We have the one out unlimited plus unlimited streaming that was $10 a month and will now be $16 a month.
I was going to drop to just streaming but they don't carry many of the things we want to watch(old tv and movies). We also can't get those from Redbox or our libraries.
I ran the numbers on buying the dvd's we want to watch and reselling them and that's a good option to save money. It's just a hassle.
I have 7 days still to make up my mind.~~Constance

Dropped streaming and will keep the dvds. They just don't have the selection of movies we want to watch available for streaming yet.

I dropped the DVD's and I'm thinking about dropping the service all together :/ . Do I really need to watch that much? May put my service on hold for a month or two and see how it goes.

I wanted to drop it totally. DH and the guys would have rioted though. So, we are doing just streaming. We figure that we will flip-flop between dvd-only and streaming.

I use "IndieFlix." It is only $5.95/month, and I can watch all I want.
No major box office motion pictures or HBO specials, but a lot of really good movies, including full-length features and documentaries.

I didn't change a thing. 2 DVDs and streaming. Since I came from the time when streaming was added for free, I always looked at it that way. Only now do I consider myself actually paying for the streaming that I consume.
