    Default Fall/Autumn Music

Do you have any songs/music that you like to listen to in the fall/autumn season? Or music that reminds you of fall/autumn?

Now that you mention it there are lots of songs for summer, Christmas songs, songs about spring but cannot recollect any for fall.

I was trying to come up with a playlist of Fall music as a gift for a friend... I have found a few, but not many. Country Road by John Denver... The Boys of Fall by Kenny Chesney... Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce... Peaceful Easy Feeling by the Eagles... I need a few more. Guess I'll keep searching...

~Classical! It reminds me of my school days and helps me focus better on the tasks of Fall.~

Apparently I only associate fall with Halloween music. Wind howling, water bubbling, chains rattling, dogs howling...the Monster Mash...

Type O Negative's album October Rust
Not only does it have "October" in the album, I picked it up in the Fall, and listened to it endlessly for months. Cooler months don't seem complete without this album played a couple times a week.

    Smile

When tucked all snuggly in the car - to go leaf peeping - nothing will do except extraloud classical. (Dunno why, just meant to be.)

Type O Negative are definitely 'Autumn Music' for me as well. They especially remind me of October time two years ago when I was house-sitting for my brother completely alone for a while. Type O provided the soundtrack for many crunchy-leaf-strewn walks during that time.

Also this little snippet from the movie Hocus Pocus is a tune that entered my brain as a child:

It's definitely Halloween time when I hear this

I'm thinking I will add Michael Jackson's Thriller... And I was listening to Cyndi Lauper's True Colors, I think that will work nicely for Fall, too...
