Any gamers playing Elderscroll's 'skyrim'?
PIcked it up last weekend, really enjoying it. Seems most of the changes to the game are good, the minor tweeks to how things work. Playing as an iperial, up to level 10 or 11. I really love the 'open' games, don't play many games, but wouldn't miss this one! Anyone else?

I played a bit.
Skyrim is beautiful and well done.
I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I got an arrow to the knee.
As a Christmas gift for my oldest boy I built a computer for him. I ordered parts and assembled it. His computer would have cost probably around $1300 if purchased at bestbuy or other stores and made with cheap components. Ordering quality parts and assembling it myself shaved off $500 on the price.
He has a sweet gaming rig now. He can play the game at ultra levels for details and frame rate is around 40 in intensive areas. I'm now officially jealous of his rig.
I have not played skyrim in a while.

Both my adult children play it. DD got the pc version for xmas from Bf and I got Ds the ps3 version. It looks fantastic except its a little bloddy/violent for me. I just love some of the graphics and Ds's house.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

My DS went out the day it was released and bought it for his computer. Then he went and bought the Collector's Edition for DH for Christmas. It came with the PS3 game, a dragon statue, a beautiful art book, and a DVD. I think DS bought it so he could have the extras!
DH has been playing the Elder Scrolls since he had 'Arena' on floppy discs in the late 90's. He also loved Morrowind, but never got into Oblivion so much. He also plays Fallout, made by the same company.
I showed DS the My Little Pony video, but he'd already seen it. He's 17, and loves the Ponies. He said he wouldn't be able to shoot it, because Fluttershy is his favourite. I guess My Little Pony is a popular thing with late teenage and early 20's men. Not sure why, but OK....~Tracy~

This video is awesome. They let the developers do what they wanted for a week, and this is the result.
