Love my dog...HOWEVER...
...not this much!
Woman who nursed puppies has no regrets
A young Norwegian mother who took a litter of puppies to her own breast when her
dog died giving birth remains proud of her unusual move. Now, six weeks later,
both her infant son and eight of the puppies that survived are crawling around
the family's Christmas tree in Siggerud, west of Oslo.

another thought...
Is the kid barking? or talking? chasing cats or drinking out of the toilet bowl? (well, both kids and dogs might do that)

Yuck! I think you can get some kind of formula from your vet to bottle feed puppies in a case like that.

umm..I dunno. It is weird, but she only did it for a weekend. I would think if she had to do it, she could use expressed milk and eyedropper feed. JMHO

LMAO @ Viv
That story is so gross! Like frugalmel said why actually 'feed' them and not express?? Sounds kinky to me!
Anyway I took a staffie pup in at just 3 weeks old, my vet said she probably wouldn't live and we did nearly lose her a few times. I sat with her for over a week at one point and fed her goats milk with a medicine syringe every hour. She's now nearly a year old.
Oh yuck can't bare to think of it! Mind you I didn't enjoy feeding my own kids - I certainly wouldn't entertain feeding a dog!
