    Default Have you ever read......

"How to Deal with Your Acting-Up Teenager"

I just ordered it from Half.com and was wondering if anyone has read it and what they think about it. I am trying to get any suggestions on dealing with DS#1 before I lock myself away.

It had good reviews on Amazon. Here is one review:

I was fortunate to read this book when my son was only 9 years old. If you have a child who is anywhere from 7 to 17 stop everything and READ THIS BOOK. It will save you hours of agonizing thoughts about how to deal with your child so he takes responsibility and you end up doing a good job of parenting. The advice really works. Many thanks to the authors.

I always said "put them in a barrel and feed them through a hole until they are about 21, then let them out."

Ugh teenagers - its all a part of life and things do get better.

I haven't read the book though so can't help you there. Sounds like a good one though. You'll have to post and tell us about it.

I can't wait to get it CJ. I hope it is as good as the reviews say it is. DS#1 is about to drive me insane. Why do teenagers "know everything?" or so they think. I hope this book helps me before I go crazy...oh wait, I already am there.

Maybe I should buy it to! Ashley is 13 and knows everything under the sun PLUS more!!!! Why do teenagers act the way they do?! I honestly don't remember being anything like Ashley.
I did as I was told when I was told (bragging on myself heehee)
