Exclamation The movie "Signs" with Mel Gibson

I didn't think I would like this one, but I did! It was funny in some parts (the kids and Mel Gibson are cute) but it also scared me! I thought the special effects were pretty good too. A good old fashioned scary, no gore, just spooky music and a lot of feeling claustrophobic. Anybody else like this one?

Why thank you. Thank you very much!

I liked it too! I was amazed, though that some parents were in the theater with little ones. The kids were scared and mom and dad just sat there and watched. It was a bit intense for the little ones.

I let my seven year old son watch it, he is in a I am big and brave phase and I figured worse comes to worse he will sleep with me tonight. He watched about half of it and spent the rest cuddled up with me under the blanket while my Dh and I finished watching. He slept in my room last night, but seems fine this morning. I enjoyed it a lot.

Nope no motor home here. My in laws had one for years. It's a great way to go! I am in the picture thread though.

I'm bucking the trend here- didn't like this movie at all. Found the acting cheezy, and I couldn't believe that Mel could stoop so low. I mean Braveheart to this? What was he thinking????

I* loved this and bought it. We have watched 3 times. We saw it in the movie theatre also. It was very intense and my kids watched too. They loved it, buit we are all scary spooky movie fanatics and they handle them very well. The youngest is still insisting she is an awien. (that's 2 year old for alien.)

It was ok. It reminded me of Blair Witch at first, but the ending was really good.
