    Default New Book Club Selection?

Is there going to be a new book club selection in Feb? I haven't noticed any new posts here. I didn't join the book club before because I didn't like the Frugal Luxuries Book, but I love books. So is there going to be a new one soon?

I would be interested in joining a book club. I read mostly fiction though. Although I'm a history buff too.

I love to read but I enjoy fiction. Who organizes and makes the selections?

I'm not sure if you want to have the selection on being frugal or if they can be of any subject.

Here are some books I've read - most are from Oprah's book club. Just some ideas.....

Sue Miller - While I was gone
Wally Lamb - I know this much is true
Anita Shrieve - Stange fits of passion

I think the library has these books too.
I have several Anita Shreve books. I really enjoy her but I haven't had a chance to read the rest of the books I have yet. What ideas do you guys have for a book? Feb is almost here!!

I have read "I know this much is True", it might be a bit long to do for the first one, LOL! But I am interested in While I was Gone. I would have to get it from the library (I have to find it first, LOL!) But that might be good!

Here is what the summary on the back of the book says about While I was gone...

Despite having a loving husband, three vivacious daughters, a beautiful home in rural Massachusetts, and satisfaction in her work, Jo Becker's mind is invaded by a persistent restlessness. Then, an old roommate reappears to bring back Jo's memories of her early 20's. Her obsession with that period of her life and with the crime that concluded it eventually estrange Jo from everything she holds dear, causing her to tell lie after lie as she is pulled closer to this man from her past to a horrible secret.

This is exactly what was written on the back - I hate doing that but it's been awhile since I've read it and my memory isn't very fresh on the subject. sorry! My book has the reading group discussion guide in the back so that might give us some ideas for discussion if anyone is interested. Let me know...I'll read it again. Or if someone has another idea that is great too...I love hearing about new and fun books!!!
