    Probably too many to count!

    Let's see:

    Jack-in-the-Beanstalk-dd was in this one

Annie-old son was in this one

The Littlest Elf- ds#2 was in this

    Newsies- both boys in this

Music Man- again, both boys in it

Three Bears, Three Pigs- oldest son had a lead role (as a pig)

    Sound of Music

    Peter Pan

TaDaaa- written by a hometown writer, a composite of many Broadway hits.

    Hello Dolly

Others when I was a child, but they all run together.

I am ashamed that I live 45 minutes away from Broadway and don't go very often. I love it, it's just the logistics of the whole thing that keep me away. I've seen:
Les Miserables (4 times and would go back again and again...I sob the entire show!)
Phantom of the Opera (2 times)
    Cats
    Annie
    Miss Saigon

Like Amy, I live close enough to Broadway to make it happen, I don't go often anymore, but growing up my mother made a point of a major fine art experience at least twice per year. I never felt forced and for a long time it was one of the few things she and I could agree on.
My list that I can remember:
Annie, The Pirates of Penzance, Grease, 42nd Street, A chorus Line, Les Mis., Miss Saigon, Phantom, (Sandy Duncon and Tommy Tune in something I can't remember the name of, but we had box seats and I really enjoyed it at the Helen Hayes Theatre) Torch Song Trilogy, Dream Girls. I've seen The Nutcracker 1/2 a dozen times(my fave), Sleeping Beauty and been to the opera on a few occasions. I enjoy it a lot and wish I had more time now to take advantage.

All of these I've seen in Toronto:

Phantom - Saw it in high school and Michael Crawford was the lead. All I need say is WOW! Boy can he ever sing! I saw it this month and Im going again next month with bf - he got mad that I didnt ask him to go this month - oopsies! The first time was excellent. This new production flows just like the movie - on stage Kinda disapointing but its still a great story!

    Les Miserables
    Lion King
    Mama Mia
    Rent
    Chicago

Id love to see Miss Saigon if itd ever come back. Beauty and the Beast. If all goes well with the bf and Phantom this month, we're going to get tix to see WE WILL ROCK YOU. I cant wait!!

Ever?! Broadway? Off Broadway? Here are all the plays I remember ever seeing:

    Romeo & Juliet
    King Lear
    Hamlet
    Death of a Salesman
    Phantom of the Opera
    Hello Dolly
Vagina Monologues (and was in it twice)
    Much Ado about Nothing
    The Producers
    Hairspray
    Thoroughly Modern Millie
    Wizard of Oz
Bye Bye Birdie (was in the pit orchestra)
    Taming of the Shrew
    The Sound of Music
    Arsenic and Lace
    Grease
    The Pirates of Penzance
    The Nutcracker Ballet

Probably more that are not coming to mind. I've seen some as movies (My Fair Lady, Rent) and I've been in some others.

Well I guess I'm counting high school too.

    Oklahoma (HS)
    Bye Bye Birdie (HS)
    Pippin (HS)
Caberet (was in orchestra for my senior year)
    42 Street (NYC)
Phantom of the Opera (Philadelphia with DD15)
Carousel (HS but DD15 was in the stage crew! Saw this the other night)

Okay so I'm a little behind but DD15 likes plays and we have plans to see more.

I went to We Will Rock You 2 weeks ago. The story was a bit silly, of course, but the music was awesome. I really enjoyed it. That's the only show I've seen in Toronto. Other than that I've seen Romeo & Juliet (RSC, Stratford on Avon), Of Mice & Men, Hamlet, Into the Woods, and about 6 others that I can't remember at the Neptune in Halifax, NS, and MacBeth at the Atlantic Theatre Festival in Wolfville, NS.

I think that We Will Rock You was the only non-Shakespeare that I liked.

Since my original response in 2003, I have also seen Hairspray, Billy Joel's Movin' Out, and Smokey Joe's Cafe. I'll be seeing Grease this summer. I'm dying to take Julia to see the Lion King, but so far, it's too expensive.

My whole list is NYC Broadway. (I live here...makes sense!)
