Here is another article from the Brandon Sun: (btw - this is a Canadian article, it would be interesting to see one from the States.)

[QUOTE]
Consumer borrowing expanded at its fastest pace in more than a decade last year. Consumer credit rose 7.6%, the fastest pace in 11 years.

The resport also noted that, for the first time since mid-2001, consumer credit rose faster than mortgage credit, which expanded by 7.6% for the year ending Oct. 2002.

During the same period, the report said, consumer credit grew by 8%.

Credit-card debt moved higher, growing more than 13%.

People just don't seem to get it, the more consumere credit a person has, the harder and harder it gets to pay and it takes years and years to get out of that debt.

Thoughts!!
