    Default Bridezilla

Okay, I think reality tv has finally hit the wall. It cannot go any lower than this. Fox (I think) has a new show starting this week called "Bridezilla" which, if I understand correctly, is going to follow these brides around a few days up to their weddings and show how crazy they get. I guess they chose women who are normally a little unbalanced to begin with. Unreal!

I admit to a newfound "fascination" with some reality TV (Joe Millionaire, the Bachelorette and American Idol) but this is over the top! Not for me!

I saw the previews for this. I'll admit when I worked as a wedding consultant I dealt with my fair share of bridezillas. Nothing like seeing a bride swearing and pouting like a child on her wedding day. I've seen them upset over their priest, upset over their readers, upset over the weather etc...geesh.

I agree man vs beast was pretty bad.

Dh can't wait to see this one, lol. Man vs beast was pretty much a reach. Pretty soon we'll see people going to the bathroom on reality tv. Nothing is sacred.

Hubby and I caught the commercial and all I said was "Aren't you glad you didn't marry a woman like that?" Then we had a good laugh. It's a show which will show women acting like the spoiled brats they are. Why would someone consent to something like that? What are they thinking? Yes please show me acting like a complete idiot on national TV. HELLO!!! *shaking head in disgust*

I watched the show last night and I just sat there shaking my head in disgust! I know that many people spend way too much money on weddings when that could be going to something much more practical imo. But I was just shocked by how much these women were total jerks!!!! It was so stupid! What they need to be concerned about is making sure they have a beautiful marriage - who cares about the 4 hour wedding!!!!! No one will even remember the wedding next year.

I caught a few minutes of it and was just shocked at how selfish and self centered these women were. The guys were weak and whipped and where exactly are they getting all this money from? Marraige is about being partners, it's not about being bossed around by some overbearing witch. What was with the Asian girl who wouldn't kiss her hubby. I just thought what little I saw of her avoiding him was crazy. :eyeroll:

They should have taken that money and bought a new attitude.
