Default what book do you LOVE????

One of my favorite books and i read it maybe 2 times a year is
TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. It wasn't required in high school and i don't know why I didn't read it. but i found it in my early 20's and have loved it ever since. I still laugh and cry and could probably read most of it with out turning a page.

Another one that i really love is THE ELM AT THE EDGE OF THE EARTH by Robert Hale. It is another excellent book. and I will not say how many times I have read it.

So tell us what books you just love to read.

The entire Anne of Green Gables series. I know its for children but I read it as a child and still re-read the entire series once a year. I also love the Anne of Green Gables PBS movies. I watch those once a year too.

The Little House Series by Laura Ingalls Wilder, and Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. There are many others, but those come to mind first!

I now know why we all get along so well: my favorite books include: Anne of Green Gables, Gone with The Wind, To Kill a Mockingbird and Flowers in the Attic (when I was a teen, LOL!). I have a velvet covered edition of Anne Of Green Gables that I got as a gift and I haven't even read it...I am saving it for my daughter.

I read all the Harry Potter books too! They are very good. I am currently reading The Witching Hour. I don't reread books once I've read them. But I have too many books to list that I really did love!

I love the Dr Alex Delaware books that Jonathon Kellerman writes. I feel like I actually know the characters in those books. If you can be in love with a character from a book, I am madly in love with Dr Delaware! LOL!

I loved reading the Earth Children series by Jean Auel, and the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I also love Patricia Cornwell, Faye Kellerman and Stuart Woods just to name a few. I also love reading biographies.

I just finished reading "The Sweet Potato Queens Book of Love". This book is fabulous. I have never laughed so hard. I highly recommend it. Its by Jill Conner Browne and is a wonderful look at women and men - wished I had read it before I ever got married.
