Anyone ever read Diane Mott Davison?
These are mystery books that revolve around a self employed caterer. She cooks while solving mysteries and the books have recipes in them too. I'm not big on mysteries, but the cooking part reeled me in, lol.
I read The Grilling Season a few years ago and I enjoyed it. She has several books in this series about "Goldy" the caterer. I have Tough Cookie here, I got it at a yard sale. I think I will read that too.

I like her books, fun to read and pretty entertaining.
On 11-22-85 I married the man of my dreams.
On 01-13-89 I gave birth to the love of my life.

I like her books too. Goldy sure does lead an exciting life. One minute she'll be making canapes and the next she's knocked out or run off the road by some crazed killer.

I have read two or three of them. They are very popular at work; we reshelve them regularly!

I enjoy her books. I fondly refer to them as fluff mysteries. I enjoy Mott Davidson, JoAnne Fluke and Tamar Meyer for that type of light mystery. They are fun and usually quick reads.

I've read about 7 of them...the first 7. I have to take breaks between them, though, and read other things...

I've read all of them ~ up to her newest and that's in my pile to read. Joanne Fluke writes the same sort of mysteries with recipes included.

I love Goldy the caterer! I actually just finished Sweet Revenge, her newest one and thought it was really good.
There are some hints in there as to what her next book will contain...and it looks good!
Someone else mentioned Joanna Fluke...I like her too. I also really like G.A. McKevett, too.
