    Red face The Good Girl

Has anybody seen this movie? It has Jennifer Aniston in it. I was not too impressed with the movie but loved Jennifer's performance. I think it was one of those movies that you either get it all or you get none of it. Ya know? It was very strange in parts. Does anyone else have any comments on this one?

No, I didn't see it, but want to. It would be interesting to see Jennifer Aniston's performance, unfortunately, I can only see her as Rachael Green...I fear that all of the actors will only ever be seen as their friends character (JMHO). But I do want to see it. Thanks for the review!

I really liked it a lot. I thought jake gallenhaal did a wonderful job as Holden Worther. Jennifer Anniston did a great job too. It's comparision to The Catcher in the Rye was pretty good i.e the situations Holden Worther experienced and comparision to his idol holden caufield. I was a little disturbed with the ending, The soundtrack is pretty good too.

I have never read Cathcher in the Rye so that didn't work for me. Maybe I should read it.

I think the way holden saw the world was the was caufield saw it. pessimistic and overly critical. Gallenhaal had these encounters that caufield had but in different ways. His inexperience with women and the way he viewed sex is kind of the same as it was in the book. Catcher in the Rye is about " a boy that is put upon by society and the hypocrisy of the world" and so is The Good Girl.
