Heaven, I think we were alternating, were we not.
Fiction and then non-fiction, so this time if were going according to plans, I think its non-fiction, unless heaven wants it to be fiction again.

Women of the Pleasure Quarter By: Lesley Downer
It's about Geisha's and it's non-fiction.
Geisha, A Life By: Mineko Iwasaki
The Life Story of Bonnie and Clyde By: Marie Barrow Scoma
All those books are good and they are non-fiction. I have lots of others I can recommend, too! Just let me know!

I can't wait for the next book club. I loved the last selection but I didn't get to participate as much due to the house hunting. This time I'm going to take the time for myself and lock myself in a room and read!! lol

Laci - your selections sound good!

A wonderful, unforgettable book that I read a few years ago, and loved is Redeeming Love by a Christian author Francine Rivers. Has anyone read any of her books? They are all very good.

Heaven,
My suggestions are anything by Sandra Dallas. I have just Finished the Chili Queen and have read the Persian Pickle, Alice's Tulips and The Diary of Mattie Spenser.
Also if you want a good laugh - The Sweet Potato Queens by Jill Conner Browne.
I have heard the "Miss Julia" books by Ann Ross (I think) are good. I am still waiting on them from my local library. They appear to be in great demand.
Hope that helps. I am open to anything though. I read, read, read, read............

I agree, anything by Sandra Dallas is exceptional. I'm reading Alice's Tulips right now and its awesome.
Francine Rivers books are pretty heavy and not ones that I particularly liked. Just don't like her style of writing.
How about making it really interesting and also have one by Danielle Steele. I've never read one of her books (I know they are a bit juicy), but it just might get me reading one of hers.

I don't have an actual suggestion... I just like to read true stories. Biographies... stories about people's lives. Stuff like that.

Sherry post some of the biographys that you want to read and we will vote on those too. I Need Ideas. LOL
and Cj next time we are doing fiction, so find some titles from Danielle Steel and i will post those for a vote also. ( I personally don't like her but we can still do her books)
