Thumbs up Little House on the Prairie shows

My kids have been so enjoying the Little House on the Prairie videos that our neighbour has given us to use. I have seen ds#1 laugh, almost rolling on the floor. Dd always laughs but she has had tears rolling down her face a couple of times.

What are some of your "oldies but goodies" you still enjoy watching?

My 14 year old dd and I still enjoy watching Little House too. We only own 3 videos but the show is on tv every afternoon. My dd has started video taping them to enjoy later.

We own some Walton videos too. That was one of my favourite shows growing up and it nice to share these with my dks. I had forgotten about these videos; maybe I'll watch one tonight.

Oh I used to love that programme - I was in love with Charles LOL. I can't even remember what his real name is - I must be so shallow LOL.

Sorry got sidetracked now I can't think of oldies that I like at all, but I'll try and remember and come back - the memory is fading with old age LOL

I have got to find some videos of the Waltons. That was my all time favorite show, even above Dr. Quinn. She was a close third.

We just LOVE Little House on the Praire, I'm sure no surprise there!! I think the Christmas episode where Laura is willing to give up her horse is a wonderful episode!! Cry every time!! Well I usually cry at them all anyway.....such great life lessons in every one.

Carolyn, I watched Dr. Quinn every week that it was on and was so disappointed when it went off the air! Everyone knew what I was doing Saturday night at 8:00 p.m.

Although not very old my favorite show is Road to Avonlea. Life seemed so more simplier then. I also love the Waltons and watched it daily when I could. We can't get it anymore and I really miss it

I love the Waltons. It is my all time favorite television show. I liked the Little House shows also. I love 7th Heaven nowdays. It has such a great family on it, and the storylines are things that really happen in real families.
