If related to the military - please read
This should probably go somewhere else but I wanted to post it here so more could see it.
I myself am guilty of this and I need to really watch what I post on here.
A notice has gone out (and I've seen this several times) that spouses, children, relatives, etc really need to watch what they say on different sites on the internet or should I say all sites on the internet regarding the status of their loved one serving the country. Please do not say where they are if you know, don't say their rank/rate or any other information regarding your solider. This pertains to all military even if they aren't overseas.
We don't stop to think about this but terriorist are on the internet reading any information they can. And even though Sara does a wonderful job (thank you) at screening who is a member on this site many of us participate on others. And if someone wants to "break-in" to this site..they can. They are evil people and the more information we give them the more chances they have to hurt us.
It may seem like it shouldn't be a big deal to talk about what your loved one does in the military but one day it could back fire. I shouldn't have mentioned somethings that I have and I could kick myself for it!! I love to talk about Malcom and share things and I love to hear about your lives too. But this is a crazy time for our nation and we all have to do our part in protecting our military and ourselves.
I no longer can mention when Malcom is coming home or leaving and I can't mention where he is at anymore. I hope I don't come across as mean for asking us all to do this but I think it's really important that we all do this. It doesn't mean to completely stop talking about the miltary....we hear so much on the news. I really want to hear what is going on and if someone has a specific prayer request or is going thru a difficult time please don't stop asking for support. We just need to limit a few things on what we say.
God bless them all and all the families and friends who are going thru this too!!

Makes sense to me Daphne. I am sorry for all you go through. Please know that you, Malcolm, all the members here and our entire nation are in my prayers. We are here for you!
God Bless you Malcolm, where ever you are!
