    Exclamation Need music suggestions

I love big band, swing and jazz music. I have a lot of jazz...Frank Sinatra, Diana Krall, etc., but would like some suggestions from you all for some names of artists of big band and swing music. I already have heard of Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman...but any other suggestions? Thanks!

If you want a "modern" group, try the Brian Setzer Orchestra. He's formerly of The Stray Cats, but has redone a lot of classic swing tunes. He does a nice job!

I love that music too. Here are some of my favorites-Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Count Basie, Woody Herman and Harry James. If you like the female singers from that era I would suggest Ella Fitzgerald (what a voice ), Helen Ward, Doris Day, Jo Stafford and of course the Andrews Sisters, (their "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" is one of my all time favorites).

I love this music and it is great when people of our generation still enjoy it, that means it will stay "alive" and be loved for years to come.
