    Talking Hgtv

My favorite shows on HGTV are Room by Room (but I kind of wonder about the hosts sometimes), Room for a change, Designers Challenge and Decorating Cents.

I saw that they have a show similar to Trading Spaces (another one I love even though it's not on HGTV) but I can't remember the name.

    What do you like?

Can you tell I'm trying to find something to watch and talk about besides the war for a little bit.

I watch more HGTV than anything else in the evenings.
    I love
    design on a dime
    country style
    house hunters
    collector inspector
    if walls could talk
    restore america
weekend warriors (really love this one!)
and I watch a few others, the one that makes me nutty is the designing for the sexes, I just cannot stomach that man that hosts it!
I am looking for their garden team show to debut (March 28th)

I used to like HGTV alot but now I tune into TLC more often now. I love trading spaces and While you were out. The new show Faking it is a fun show that I'd consider going on. To answer your question though, Extreame Homes is stillmy fav.

I watch this channel almost as much as Nick Jr.
I really like almost all of the shows. Last night I watched house hunters and had never seen that one before.

House hunters is not one of my favorites...it gets on my nerves....who searches for a home, looks at 3 of them, signs a contract, gets the house, closes and moves in in 30 minutes!!! lol...can you tell this house buying experience has made me silly!!! But really, it's an ok show, I've seen it many times. It's one of those shows that I can't stop watching.

I know what you mean Daphne. I watch it, while sitting in a home that is almost perfect for me and i think, man! lady, you could paint the wall! LOL
I think those folks are way picky, but I watch it to get ideas mainly for my yard and home, I don't get to watch much day time design (dh wakes up if I touch the remote!) So I watch a lot during the evening when hes at work.
Extreme Homes is cool but I can not stand the hostess, either her voice or her speech pattern grates on me

I watch more TLC/discovery than HGTV. I used to watch the line up of gardening by the yard, room by room and surprise gardener. Gardening by the yard, only see that on saturdays now, room by room has gotten more "expensive" with the things they do and I have no idea where surprise gardener is now. I catch decorating cents once in awhile and I don't like any of their new shows. I like to watch shows that show me how to do things rather than showing me where they bought the things from. I do try to catch their landscaping shows on saturday mornings if I can.

I used to watch HGTV a lot, but lately we have been watching the food channel. We love watching all this wonderful food being prepared. We like 30 Minute Meals and Emeril Live and the cooking school they do on Saturdays. My daughters watch it too. Today my daughter showed me a way to peel mangoes that she had seen on the show. Since I have 3 teenage daughters, we also watch the Style channel alot. Our favorites on that are: Shabby Chic, The Look for Less, and Glow.

I laughed last night because the realtor told the couple flat out...there aren't any homes in your price range.
I almost choked on my pop.
They ended up with a nice townhouse. It was weird in appearance on the outside, but the inside looked really pretty.
I was laughing because the couple seemed most concerned over grass in their backyard for their pet bunny. LMAO

I have to agree. They look at 3 houses and are ready to sign. Not too realistic on average.

HGTV, Style network and TLC are 99% of the tv I watch. I get very cranky if I miss Trading Spaces on Saturday night- how sad is that? lol...

Sara I know! I think thats the first flat out honest realtor I have seen! I missed the opening, and thought their pet was a dog. I about choked when I found out it was a bunny! Too funny!
They are all like zombies " let go look at this room"......"ok"
Even after they tell the realtor, this is NOT what I want!
I love trading spaces but I like the bbca one, changing rooms better. I loved ground force on bbca too.
