Post CNN reports do not send care packages........

to any military personnel unless they are your family!

I just saw this flash across the screen on CNN. I guess it is because the men and women are on the move.

It is on CNN. They keep scrolling it across the screen.

I was surfing MyCoupons earlier today and a few of the women were talking about how they "adopted" a soldier to send care packages and letters to. I bet this is causing a problem when they move around so much.

Another potential reason is that the care packages can be used by someone against our troops. Any package not coming from a family member could potentially be used as a weapon against the person opening it... ala anthrax

If a soldier who took an oath to defend the US can toss a grenade at a tent of fellow soldiers, anything is possible.

That is what I was thinking too Bevv, I wouldn't open a package from an unknown if I were there !!!!!!!!!
Send e-mails.................. and pray for them !!!!!!!!
See that they have a welcome home worthy of a person who defends your very existence............. No matter how you feel about the war !!!!!
See that their families are watched over and cared for.......
Tell them in an e-mail !!!!!!!!
