Default Did you hear about this????

An American soldier in Kuwait attacked his fellow soldiers. He knocked out the generator, then rolled grenades into 3 tents, while everyone was asleep. One person was killed and several injured.
This man was an "American Muslim"... says he did this because he opposed the war.

How in the world could you do something like that!?!

    Because he was insane!!!

Yes I heard about it and one person died from his injuries.

And if he did do it because he opposed the war, didn't he stop to think that throwing grenades to injure or kill others was creating a war, not stopping in? Or I guess he just didn't think!!

I thought it must have taken a bunch of people with a lot of guns, a LOT of restaint, to not "accidently" shoot him. I know it would have been hard for me. But I am not a trained military person.

    No kidding, Kim.

Its things like this that will make it hard on alot of other soldiers who may be muslim or from other ethnic backgrounds... and truely are Americans. You never know for sure who to trust.

If he really opposes the war then WHY did he join the ARMY? Did he honestly beleive that He would NEVER go to war? DH says they probably won't do anything to him. For this I am OUTRAGED!

He is an American turned Muslim, even changed his name. He had just been reprimanded by his superiors for insubordination (sp?) and was not allowed to move on with the rest of his group. He's very lucky they didn't drag him out in the middle of the desert and shoot him. I don't understand how he can be against war and killing but then turn around because he's mad and kill someone. Very dumb and immature move on his part. They should send him into Baghdad with his uniform on as punishment.

America love it or leave it!!!!!

His brother was given an "early discharge" after 9/11 because of something to do with his muslim background. They said that on the news... they interviewed his step-dad.
