Default The rest of the Covenant

Okay as with Julias hope the book isn't right here so forgive me if i forget something i am going to do as much of it as i remember but if i forget something you want to add in please do so.

Abram called the cousins to get them to offer the job to Jonas, was that right of him?

Sadie held the secret right to the end, should she have confided in someone before hand.

The aunt wasn't very pleased about the baby but she helped the girls should she have told her sister.

The doctor figured out the baby was his sons, should he have said something to Sadie about knowing?

This erked me, Should he have taken the baby back to Sadie, when he found the child was alive, was it right of him not to say a word.

What did you think of the book in and of itself.

What do you think is going to come in the next book.

I am sure i have forgotten a ton of it, please add anything you would like.

I don't have the book here either, but I will try and answer as best I can.

Abram called the cousins to get them to offer the job to Jonas, was that right of him? No, He should have been more considerate of his daughter's desires.

Sadie held the secret right to the end, should she have confided in someone before hand. Yes, at least her aunt.

The aunt wasn't very pleased about the baby but she helped the girls should she have told her sister. I am not sure about this one, I think she needed to try to get Sadie to talk to her mother.

The doctor figured out the baby was his sons, should he have said something to Sadie about knowing? I don't think it would have helped matters any.

This erked me, Should he have taken the baby back to Sadie, when he found the child was alive, was it right of him not to say a word. Absolutely. What to do with the child should have been Sadie's choice.

What did you think of the book in and of itself. It was a wonderful read that at times got my blood boiling and at other times almost had me in tears.

What do you think is going to come in the next book. just guessing - It will have alot to do with the baby and with Derek's brother I think. Leah and Jonas will probably get together and Sadie will leave the family.

Abraham called the cousins to give Jonas a job, was that right of him I agree, he shouldn't have. He should have been more considerate of his daughter (which he wasn't throughout most of the book IMO)

Sadie held the secret right to the end, should she have told someone Given the time of the book, I'm not sure about this one. Either way, she would have been ostrasized and especially being in an Amish community, it would have been even worse I think. It it had been me, I'm not sure what I would have done!! Remember, that wasn't talked about in those days.

The aunt wasn't very pleased about the situation but she did help the girls. Should she have told her sister No, if she was asked to keep a confidence, then she was right in doing so.

The doctor thought the baby was his sons - should he have said something to Sadie about it Definitely YES!!!

Should he have taken the baby back to Sadie when he found the baby was alive YES, YES, YES. This irked me too Heaven, in fact I was ready to scream and write the author about this one. He had no right not to tell Sadie the baby was alive, no matter what era the book was written in.

What did you think of the book itself Having read all of her books, I felt this one was the best!!! It made me sad, happy and angry all at the same time. But I loved the book. As to the next one and what do I think will happen - knowing the title Betrayal - I think Sadie will get with Jonas and Leah will end up finding out about the baby and will keep it quiet!! I think we just might see a different Leah in the book.
